As we near the completion of the largest remodel of all time (ok in our minds anyway!) we just wanted to pass on our thanks and appreciation for a job WELL DONE.

Last year we decided it was time to either do some remodeling or find a new place to call home. We weren't thrilled with the idea of moving so we started looking at things to "fix" in order to stay in the home we loved. It started with a vision of a family room for a big screen TV and a more modern, open kitchen area with new appliances.

After our initial meetings with you and Brian, your inspiring vision for our home created such excitement we decided to truly bring our 100 year old house up to 21st Century standards! We wanted to create a more comfortable open, family style home (the house was originally an upper/lower duplex), update our environment, address our energy efficiency (or significant lack of!), and incorporate technological and creature comforts. At the same time, we were insistent upon maintaining the turn-of-the century craftsmanship and design.

The results speak for themselves. Our home now has all the bells and whistles of new construction but with the same theme and image that was there before the construction began! Everyone at Enerjac has been helpful in making that ever changing image appear: especially given our frequent last minute modifications, on the fly design improvements, and incorporation of after-the-fact additions!

What's been the most important to us while we lived through each phase (and lived IN each phase!) was the constant and consistent understanding that this was our Home. From moving furniture around for us to live on, to surprising us with a Tree for Christmas, everyone has respected our house and the space we've needed. When Aaron, Nate & Kevin went home each evening, they made sure our home was picked up and as clean as possible when we got home. Our dog Maggie will certainly miss the guys everyday she's home alone!

The quality of workmanship you've given us is undeniably EXCELLENT, emphasized by the attention to every detail and absent of quick fixes. We will (and have) recommend Enerjac to anyone who wishes to make their house their own real home.

Now that we are settled in and enjoying our new space, I want to take a moment to tell you how pleased we are with our new home. I say new, because it feels like an entirely different place. After months of living in our newly remodeled home, we still wake up in the morning and come home from work at the end of the day saying, "Wow, I can't believe it! We live here! This is our home!"

Being a family with six children, I imagined that the process of remodeling would be stressful and confusing. This could not be farther from the truth. The most difficult part of the project was the need for me to make timely decisions and choices so you could do your job! Thank you for your patience with me while I did so. We cannot think of one thing we would change.

The "Enerjac family" became a part of our lives during the construction and we could not have been more comfortable with each and every professional you sent to work on and in our home. Tom, you were a joy to work with. Your calm manner, reliability and responsive professionalism gave us reassurance every step of the way. It also helped that you could work with both our personalities and the busyness of our family life.

I'm sure we will be working together again! Thank you for everything.

A major remodeling job in your home is a disruption at the very best and more likely can be down right unpleasant, but our experience with Enerjac was almost a pleasure. I say almost, because it is never fun to have your home disrupted, destroyed and partly unusable.

Right from the start, Brian listened to us and seemed to have a real feel for what we wanted and what we could afford in our budget. He had great ideas and came up with a design that was just what we wanted. From there, things went just as smoothly. There are always unexpected events in a job of this size, but the Enerjac team was always quick to respond. The crews on the job were always a pleasure to have around and the whole family actually missed them when the job was done. They always did their best to minimize the impact to our lives while the job was being done.

The job was done on time and on budget and I always felt I was dealing with honest people from start to finish. Over a year later, Tom continues to check in from time to time to make sure we are still happy with the job. Guess who gets the call the next time I have another remodeling job? I happily recommend Enerjac to anyone looking for home remodeling.

It seems to me that it's going to be difficult for you to convey all the work and especially the complex engineering and planning that you put into this project during the Remodelors Showcase. I think we took out half of our load bearing walls in opening up the downstairs and put in more huge beams that I can count ... and in the process, your guys found a corrected a 2" sag I didn't know I had in the living room floor. I tell our friends that we didn't remodel - we rebuilt!

I also want to take this opportunity to tell you how pleased we are with our final results and with Enerjac. We found every one of your employees very friendly and cooperative. While it was a challenge to live here throughout the project, we did use that to our advantage by doing a lot of fine-tuning along the way... and your people bent over backwards to accommodate our additions and changes, the most notable of which is the addition of the loft. Communications were great, and your people always consulted us if there were options instead of just "sticking things in".

I guess the bottom line is that Karen and I are really pleased with the way our project turned out and want to express our appreciation to you for a job that was more than just well done. We just had all the family over for Dan's graduation and I can't tell you how well the plan accommodates our large gatherings! Thanks for everything!!
